01General provisions

These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the lessor Lara Spremo s.p., Resslova ulica 4, 6330 Piran (Slovenia), VAT ID: SI 62605011 (hereinafter: the lessor) and the renter of the boat (hereinafter: the renter).

By booking the boat, the renter confirms that they have read and fully accept these general terms and conditions.

02Rental conditions

To operate the boat independently, the renter must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid boat licence (category C or higher) or international certificate (ICC)
• Valid identification document (ID card or passport)

When renting with a skipper, no boat licence is required.

03Booking and payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer (against a proforma invoice) or in cash upon collection. The booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment or by mutual agreement.

04Security deposit

Upon collection of the boat, the renter pays a security deposit of €500. The deposit is returned in full when the boat is returned undamaged. In case of damage, repair costs are covered from the deposit or settled by agreement.

05Collection and return

Collection typically takes place in Portorož, though it can be arranged elsewhere. The boat is handed over with verified fuel-tank status. Fuel is not included in the rental price — it is charged based on actual consumption, calculated from the digital meter reading before departure and upon return.

A joint inspection of the boat is carried out at collection, recording the condition of the boat and equipment.

06Renter's obligations

The renter undertakes:

• to use the boat exclusively for tourism and recreational purposes
• to comply with all applicable navigation rules and maritime regulations
• not to exceed the maximum permitted number of persons (7 persons, or 6 passengers when renting with a skipper)
• not to sublet the boat to third parties
• to immediately notify the lessor of any damage or malfunction
• not to operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or other substances

07Cancellation

The renter may cancel the rental free of charge up to 48 hours before collection. For later cancellations, the date may be rescheduled by agreement.

In case of bad weather (strong wind, storms, adverse conditions) that prevents safe navigation, the rental is rescheduled free of charge. Guest safety is always the top priority.

08Liability

The lessor is not responsible for personal belongings of the renter or passengers. The renter is fully liable for damages caused by violating these terms or applicable legislation.

The boat is fully insured for damage to the boat and to third parties. The renter covers any deductible in accordance with the security deposit.

09Final provisions

Any disputes arising from these general terms and conditions shall be resolved by the Court in Koper. The laws of the Republic of Slovenia apply.
